Turn the barcode into a conversation.

Put one GS1 QR on the pack. It knows the product, the batch, and the expiry, and opens a chatbot, a page, or your help center.

[ 01 ] GS1 QR

The GS1 Digital Link barcode that's replacing the UPC.

A single 2D code on your packaging that works for a customer's phone today and at retail checkout as the industry moves to 2D.

  • One scannable QR instead of a stack of codes.
  • Built on GS1 Digital Link, the 2027 retail shift.
  • A phone camera opens it, no app to install.

[ 02 ] The unit

Not just a Cabernet, that bottle, that batch.

A GS1 Digital Link carries the product's barcode plus its batch, serial, and expiry, and Awardee reads every one.

  • Reads GTIN, batch or lot, serial, and expiry.
  • Handles compliant codes and the messier real ones.
  • Captured on every scan, so you know which unit.
illustration
[ 03 ] Destinations

Point the barcode anywhere, and change it any time.

Each product routes to a chatbot, a page, or your knowledge base, and you can re-point it after millions of packs are printed.

  • Route a product to a chatbot, page, or link.
  • Change where it goes without reprinting a thing.
  • Pause a product when it's off the shelf.
illustration
[ 04 ] Chatbot

Your chatbot knows the product in their hand.

When a customer scans a product and lands in your chatbot, it already knows the item, the batch, and the expiry, and answers from there.

  • It treats the scanned product's details as fact.
  • Freshness and recall questions answer themselves.
  • Warranty and returns start mid-stream, not from scratch.
illustration
[ 05 ] Dynamic pages

One page template, personalised to whatever was scanned.

A page opened from a product fills its headings, images, and fields with that exact item, name, photos, batch, and expiry.

  • Show the scanned product's name and photos.
  • Pre-fill a form with the batch and serial.
  • Show a recall notice only for the affected batch.
illustration
[ 06 ] Catalog sync

Keep Awardee in step with the system you already run.

Mirror your catalog over the API, one product per barcode, and keep it current as prices, images, and details change.

  • One product per barcode, kept fresh by GTIN.
  • Attach images, descriptions, and custom details.
  • Update a product and the next scan reflects it.
illustration
[ 07 ] Analytics

Know what's being scanned, where, and when.

Each product scan is logged with its location and time, so you can see demand by region and push updates to your systems.

  • Every scan recorded, country, region, city, and time.
  • See which products and batches get attention.
  • Privacy-safe, a visitor's address is never stored.

The barcode is already on the pack. Make it do something.

Put one GS1 QR on the pack and it carries the batch, serial, and expiry into a chatbot, a page, or your help center.

Every bottle ships with one QR. The customer scans it for tasting notes, our warehouse reads the same code for the batch, and when a question comes in the chatbot already knows exactly which vintage and lot they're holding.

GS1 and the scan

It's a barcode that's also a web address. One QR on your packaging carries the product's barcode plus its batch, serial, and expiry, and opens whatever you point it at on a phone. It's the standard retailers are moving to by 2027, so a phone and a checkout scanner can both read the same code.
